Toroidal Power Rheostats
In Industrial type toroidal power rheostats, we use high quality insulation graded ceramic cores which are tough in strength and uniform in size & manufacturing process is as same as Resistor manufacturing that starts right from selection of cores, selection of wire and the insulation coating (silicon coating) process, the thing which differs here is the winding process and the assembling process, In Sliding Resistors wire is wound horizontally, were as in the Toroidal Rheostats wire is wound vertically, the size varies and diameter is according to the ohmic value and the wattage. Assembling is made from the center to rotate with the help of knob or screw as per customers’ specification. Toroidal rheostats with Graded Winding with a maximum current rating of 5 Amps are available on specific orders. The Wattages available are 25 Watts, 50 Watts, 100 Watts, 150 Watts, 200 Watts, 225 Watts, 300 Watts and 500 Watts.
